Now Hiring Upfitting Technicians!
We are looking for new Install Technicians to join our CR Fleet and Fire Team. Our Install Technicians perform or assist in all installation work activities involved with outfitting new or upgrading existing vehicles with public safety equipment such as lighting, push bumpers, partitions, mounts, and more.
Applicants should be self-motivated, hard-working, and dependable, as well as possess a mechanical aptitude and strong willingness to learn.
To perform this job successfully, applicants must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installation of public safety equipment onto vehicles, such as lighting equipment, push bumpers, partitions, mounts, etc.
• Assisting senior install technicians in all installation activities
Preferred Skills:
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, and occasionally maneuver and lift heavy equipment
• Ability to learn and follow operation procedures, repair procedures, schematics, training manuals, and other reference materials an resources
• Ability to endure long periods of walking and standing
• Ability to do mobile jobs and/or go to other locations for training
• Skill in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision
• Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with team members
